Rick Cortez is an award winning film maker.  He produced the  film "Defense Mechanism", winning "Best in Show" at Pensacon 2014 and wrote, produced and directed the film  "The Courier" which made official selection and screened at “Artemis Women in Action Film Festival” and "Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival”.
